GRML -> Browsers -> Tree MDI ->

Release Notes

Introduction.

Tree MDI is a GRML web browser. GRML is General Reuse Markup Language. This web browser reads, writes, displays, and edits files and web pages using GRML, CSV or character-delimited formats.

Uninstalling.

To completely remove Tree MDI, first, manually delete the Temporary Files and Temporary Images folder. Then, use Uninstall Tree MDI. It removes everything else. This restores a system to the state before the software was installed.

GRML support.

Tree MDI supports GRML v2.0. There is no backward compatiblity with previous versions of GRML.

Tree control.

This web browser uses a tree control to display file and web page content. Tree controls display content in a hierarchy. This means a result has a parent and child relationship. The parent item is the first item of the result. The chid items are all items of a result (including the first).

Editing Results.

To edit result items, use the Details window. The Details window displays the text value of a selected result item. To submit changes made in the Details window, select another result item.

History Files.

Looking in the History subfolder shows the files that appear in the dropdown when importing a history file. These files contain lists of file and web page requests to submit using Tree MDI. These sample History files provide examples of how History files are saved, loaded, and used by Tree MDI.

Minimum Requirements.

Tree MDI has been tested on Windows 2000 and higher with Internet Explorer 5.0. If the web browser does not work with a system configuration, send a problem report to sevenmilesearch@yahoo.com.
