Don't annoy your visitors to your Xanga. Believe me, they won't exactly bookmark you! Instead, try not to avoid any of the following in your Xanga layout.
  • Auto-playing music.

    WTF? Sometimes your visitor might be doing other things, while reading your Xanga. Sometimes, we read many Xangas at once (or very close to at once). If you can't keep your musical tastes to yourself, at least give me the option to stop it.

  • Customized scrollbars.

    While some are fine, others are well... When colors are so weird it makes you actually wonder how to scroll through your site, it's too much.

  • Blinking/autoscrolling/flashing stuff.

    Maybe these were cool in 1997, maybe. However, there’s a reason most web browsers don’t support a BLINK tag. Don't be stuck in the past. Remove the distractions.

  • Scrolling text in the titlebar.

    Big deal, you made the titlebar scroll. Is there anything more you want to do, to worsen your Xanga?

  • Disabled Right-click.

    Like anyone's trying to steal your Xanga stuff. If you use that little Javascript right-click stopper, you have been thinking too hard.
Of course, there is a lot more… but I don't get paid for this. Some other offenses are awkward positioning, weird fonts, weird font colors, and CHANGING THE MOUSE CURSOR (DAMN YOU).
