It's not worth paying money to fiddle with a LiveJournal layout (live journal), unless you have more money than time. Making a LiveJournal layout isn't as hard as you think (especially when editing in easy mode). However, it is time-consuming.

Basically, a live journal layout requires making a normal HTML page. Stick the live journal variables, in the spots, where they're needed, and voila! You have a new live journal layout.
