Understanding GRML MDI web browsers.

The web browsers share many common features, such as the support windows, the support toolbars, Navigation Bar, and Address Bar. However, the fundamental difference between the web browsers is how file and web page results are displayed.

The browser window in a web browser consists of a form and a view. The form displays input controls, such as edit boxes, selection boxes, and buttons. The form is displayed the same in all GRML MDI web browsers. The view displays results. It uses columns to define how many items create a result. While the form displays the same, the view displays differently in each web browser.

Pioneer Report MDI reads a file or web page and displays any results using a list control that supports images, columns, and rows. On the other hand, Pioneer Tree MDI uses a tree control, that displays results using a hierarchy. However, both display the form the same. The view changes between the web browsers, but the form stays the same.
