Launching a GRML MDI web browser

When opening a web browser, a dialog appears to open a history file. A history file contains file locations and web addresses that are displayed in the History window. History files use the character-delimited format. Once the history file offer has completed (either 'Cancel' or select a history file to open), the web browser opens a browser window.

MDI means multi-document interface. That means more than one browser window is able to be shown in the web browser. It is possible to view content from many different files or web pages using more than one browser window using a multi-document interface.

After the browser window has opened, the web browser is able to send file and web page requests. The parts of the web browser that affect browsing are the Navigation Bar, the Address Bar, the support toolbars, the workspace (where browser windows reside), and the support windows.

To open a file or browse the web, see browsing web pages or browsing and saving files.
